Migraine Prediction Engine

About

Migraine ranks as the 5th most prevalent and 7th most debilitating condition worldwide. It affects over 22% of the Pakistani population, two thirds of which are women in the peak reproductive time of their lives. During a migraine attack, migraineurs experience such incapacitating symptoms that 90% of migraine sufferers are unable to function. To alleviate the healthcare burden associated with migraines and provide an effective tool for managing the disease, we aim to develop a personalized migraine prediction and prevention system.

This innovative solution combines a digital diary with physiological biomarkers obtained from wearable devices, as well as incorporates weather data, to generate personalized migraine predictions. By integrating these diverse sources of information, we aim to empower migraineurs with a valuable resource to better combat their condition.

A dedicated team of clinical experts, machine learning specialists, and passionate students with backgrounds in computer science, biology, and medicine drives the progress of this project, as it works diligently day in and day out.
